The lower USB port is used for powering the device from a 12v source, preferably a switched ignition source.
This connector also used for OBD communication and direct CAN for aftermarket EMS systems.
 12 Pin USB ConnectorThe 12 pin USB connector is used for power on all applications.
This also breaks out CAN.L/CAN.H for aftermarket applications through our 12PUSB to Open connector.
For OBD applications where a direct OBD2 connector is used we also offer our 12PUSB to OBD connector.
Open lead pinouts are as follows:
PWR (2): BLUE or GREEN
GND (2): YELLOW or BROWN
CAN LOW (1): BLACK
CAN HIGH (1): RED
K-LINE (1): ORANGE
